Did you know you can configure Stratus on your own? Stratus is a web-based forest management solution that allows you to modify activities without our support. You don’t need to call us to do it.
In today’s video, I will show you in 3 simple steps on how to configure Stratus by yourself to meet your business needs.
Step 1: Change Terminology
The first simple way to customize Stratus is to change the terminology found in the menu modules. By traveling to the settings pane, then selecting General Terminology, you can see the terms currently in use.
Once any of these are changed and subsequently saved, the modules will update to reflect this.
As you can see, our updated terminology "Blocks" is now reflected in the Operational Planning module.
Step 2: Change Table Headers:
Our second way to customize Stratus is to update the table headers of any module.
As you can see the current table in the Resource Management module displays a header named "Estimated Start". To change this, navigate to the desired module in the Settings and select "Tables".
Step 3: New Table Headers:
Once saved, navigating back to the resource management module shows us the newly updated table headers, showing estimated start date.
To conclude, Stratus is customizable and empowers its users to configure important workflows. You don’t need to call us or pay any extra fees for configuring the system to adapt to your business needs.
