Did You Know You Can Summarize and Visualize Your Activities in Different Formats?

Did you know you can summarize and visualize your activities in different formats in Stratus? As the saying goes "You get what you measure." The summary component in Stratus allows forest managers or forest planners to see how their activities are progressing at different levels.

In today's video, I will show you three cool things about the summary component in Stratus.

In this first part, as you can see Stratus allows you to configure the summary component. This is where you will be able to configure your summaries. By configuring it, senior, mid-level managers, or forest planners can set up the configuration to see the data they need. For example, they can visualize reports they are looking for based on cost, volume, revenue, or activity.

In the second part, I will show you that after configuring the summary component it is possible to view the data in different formats. Let's suppose a forest manager wants to see how that activities are progressing or behind to compare with the original plan. Here, they can see these data in pie, graphs, or query to find the information in the table.

Finally, it is possible to see how the summary component responds to the filter. For example, a forester needs to compare which activities are being focused on more, and which ones are not, and this can be done in a few simple steps. Click on the filter button on the attribute table, hit add,  and select which attribute you need. For example, we select here activity type and select the ones that we need to compare, which are clearcut and road construction; add them and apply filter.

Here in this graph, we can observe activity clearcut as being focused more than road construction or if you want a different type of chart, select any other chart of your choice.

To conclude, Stratus allows you to configure and visualize the data you need in different formats.
